1) DICTATOR door checks put an end to slamming doors because they catch the door thrown shut by hand, by a closing spring or by a gust of wind just before the "great bang" and then pull it quietly and safely to the completely closed position.

For this reason they are ideal e.g. in hospitals, public buildings, hotels, offices and many other buildings. DICTATOR door checks have also proven to be the ideal solution in very sensible areas where every shaking may damage precious equipment, e.g. in research laboratories.

For outside doors we have the door check type 1400 for fixing on the same side as the door stop, standard also suitable for horizontal fixing.

Especially designed for sliding doors we have the door check type 1100 with a mounting bracket in Stainless Steel. This device will make sure the closing speed on the last few centimeters is slown down and closes the sliding door completely.

We have tested our door checks for 1 Million door cycles without any problems whatsoever.

DICTATOR door checks noiselessly control the closing of doors. The door check will ensure, that the door will be held firmly closed and will not slam when shut. By making use of a DICTATOR door check, your door, door frames and windows will not be damaged anymore. The use of a door check also guarantees you that the loud bang, that normally follows after slamming the door, will no longer occur. Since 1997 we have made a modification to our door checks, so they can be adjusted when it concerns the closing speed. This can be adjusted as follows:

Using the hexagon socket screw located in the end of the piston rod, closing speed can be increased by turning the screw anti-clockwise and decreased by turning the screw clockwise.
