DICTATOR door checks control the closing of doors. The door check will ensure, that the door will be held firmly closed and will not slam, when shut.

This type of door check has been successfully in production for almost 80 years. The door check catches the closing door and hydraulically controls the final phase of closing without any noise, thus, eliminating the need for handled door catches, springs or roller catches. A simple push plate on one side and a pull handle on the other, are all the additional fittings required to operate the door.

The door will remain open at any position of the opening arc. Using the screws supplied with the door check, the DICTATOR 1000 should be fixed approximately 40 cm. at the opposite side of the hinge side. The door check is suitable for left or right opening doors and is supplied with one of the following hooks.

1011 Low hook for doors recessed 5 - 22 mm.

1009 High hook (standard) for flush doors -4 / +14 mm.

1013 Extra high hook for doors projecting +15 / 30 mm.

The DICTATOR 1200, is the same as the type 1000 except that it is supplied with a stronger spring (80N), and fixings for fitting the unit. Application: Doors, on which heavy forces as wind pressure etc. are of influence.
