Products -> door checks -> DICTATOR type 1000/1200 -> fitting

Approximately 40 cm. from the closing side, fit the housing using the 4 screws (type 1200 using the special bolts) provided. The housing should be fitted in a vertical position with the top of the housing projecting 1 mm. above the door. The hook should be fitted to the door frame directly above the door check. Ensure, that the rubber roller, just touches the lower edge of the front lip of the hook, when the lever  is in a downward position.

Use the elongated holes in both parts to obtain the correct positions. Turn the cylinder into the roller lever and use the spring clip provided to secure the cylinder. For doors with a projection of 15 - 30 mm. use the hook nr. 1013 and for doors with a recess of 5 - 22 mm. use the hook nr. 1011. By fitting the door check nearer to the closing side, the closing force is increased, but the braking distance will be decreased. The different cylinders are easily interchangeable.

The 1000 is normally supplied with a 1050 cylinder (50 N) and the 1200 with a cylinder 1250(80 N). Both come with the necessary fixing screws (special bolts with the 1200) and a hook. When ordering, state the type of hook required; 1009, 1011 or 1013.
