Jamb closer Adjunkt
Invisible jamb closer for wooden and steel doors
Characteristics
- Can be installed at any height of the door leaf
- Adjustable closing force (depending on the type of door hinges)
- For both flush and overlapping doors
- Maintenance-free, although occasional oiling of moving parts improves efficiency and durability
- The visible parts of the E 22/2550 are also available in stainless steel (model with rounded front plate)
In order to dampen the closing of the door, we recommend the use of a door damper together with this closing spring.

Installation
Installation notes
Drill a suitable sized hole in the face side of the door (23 mm diameter) and insert the concealed jamb closer into the hole. If necessary, the front plate can be embedded into the door leaf. Fix it with two countersunk head screws.
Fix the anchor plate to the frame exactly opposite and at the same height. Please make sure there is enough space for the inserted chain links. We recommend drilling a hole of approx. 50 – 80 mm depth and a slightly smaller diameter than the width of the anchor plate. Now connect the chain to the anchor plate on the door frame. Open the door further and remove the securing pin. The concealed jamb closer is now ready for operation.
To increase spring force, open the door wide and secure the chain again with the securing pin. Then shorten the chain by pushing it further through the anchor plate. After removing the securing pin, the door will be closed with a higher force.
Please note that tensioning the closing spring on the concealed jamb closer too much and/or with outside placed hinges could reduce the opening angle of the door. Continued opening of the door to 180° could damage both the concealed jamb closer and the door.
